Buckner Preparatory announced its student council officers and representatives for the 2025-26 academic year, highlighting student leadership across grades six through eight.
Eighth grader Briana Garcia will serve as president. Vice presidents include Noah Maldonado from eighth grade, Junior Guardado from seventh grade and Ivan Covarrubias from sixth grade.
Class representatives are Miracle Drone for eighth grade; Dayana Chevez and Jesus Martinez for seventh grade; and Daan Frutades and Nahjarah Smith for sixth grade.
Members-at-large, selected by faculty and staff for leadership skills and positive attitudes, include Izabella Amador, Angelina Arizola and Anthony Kelsey from seventh grade, along with Sherlyn Pelico and Sadie Roy from sixth grade.
The council will represent student interests and assist in planning school activities throughout the year.
