Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is for families with children (up to age 21) who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price meals at school during the COVID-19 pandemic. P-EBT for the 2020–2021 school year (August 2020 to June 2021) is for families with children who are certified for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program and families with children born after Aug. 1, 2014 who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits. P-EBT benefits can be used the same way as SNAP benefits. P-EBT is administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Texas Department of Agriculture and Texas Education Agency.  The P-EBT application opens June 2, 2021. The wellbeing and safety of your children, your families, and staff continue to be the top priority for Cityscape Schools during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Cityscape believes, at this time, it is in the best interest of our school family to continue to wear masks and continue all of the COVID-19 protocols that are in place.  Those measures and those practices have kept your children and our staff safe thus far during this school year.  Cityscape will continue to follow the CDC and Dallas County Health and Human Services guidelines and update you if there are any changes to our COVID-19 policies.  Can students stay in virtual school? Yes, for the rest of the school year we will continue offering both “At school” and “At home” instruction. Will you be offering virtual school next school year? Cityscape always follows TEA (Texas Education Agency) guidance as well as the recommendation from health experts at the federal, state, and local level. Both campuses are safe and warm and will be open on Monday, February 22nd, for face-to-face and virtual learning, depending on your child’s chosen instructional model.  If there is any reason your child cannot attend face-to-face or virtual instruction, please contact your child’s teacher or your school’s office. Cityscape Schools follows DISD inclement weather notifications, but since there is no remaining inclement weather, both campuses and district offices will be open tomorrow. ...
