Special Education Programs and Services

Cityscape Schools is committed to providing a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to all eligible students with disabilities. In accordance with federal and state law, we ensure that students are educated in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) alongside their non-disabled peers to the maximum extent appropriate.

We are ready, willing, and able to provide the required supports and services for each child with a disability as determined by the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee. Our comprehensive services include, but are not limited to:

    • Related Services: As determined by the ARD committee, these may include:
      • Counseling Services
      • Occupational Therapy
      • Physical Therapy

Instructional Arrangements

The amount of time a student spends in a special education setting determines their instructional arrangement. These arrangements range from mainstreaming to self-contained settings, ensuring that each student’s individual needs are met based on their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
