Delia Barajas
An experienced and dedicated educator with 18 years of service in education, Mrs. Barajas has spent her career fostering academic excellence and strong community partnerships. Throughout her journey, she has served in various roles—including bilingual teacher, assistant principal, and principal—predominantly within the southeast sector of Dallas County.
With over 10 years of school administration experience, prior to joining Cityscape Schools, Mrs. Barajas served as a principal in Dallas ISD for four and a half years. During that time she successfully improved student outcomes. Central to her leadership is the commitment to balancing academic success with a positive school culture, ensuring that both students and staff thrive in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Driven by a deep core conviction, she firmly believes that education has the unique power to transform lives and that all students can succeed when given the proper guidance and opportunities. Understanding that true educational excellence cannot be achieved in isolation, Mrs. Barajas operates on the principle that "it takes a village" to prepare, inspire, and empower our next generation of future leaders.
