Mrs. Austin brings 26 years of experience in education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher in elementary and middle school settings across local, rural, and international communities. Her leadership experience includes four years as an instructional coach and four years as an assistant principal.

Mrs. Austin has dedicated nine years of her career to serving the students of East Grand Preparatory as both a teacher and an administrator. During this time, she has made a positive impact on academic achievement through her passion and deep care for students. A fearless leader, she has faced challenges that have only strengthened her commitment to helping students grow and feel safe.
