As an Instructional Coach, Jacqueline Montemayor works as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning in all content areas. She assists in expanding understanding in research-based effective instruction and supports teachers with curriculum software products, and classroom/curriculum related technologies. She also creates common assessments and provides support in analyzing student assessment data that results in increased student performance and improved classroom environments. She finds it an honor to make a difference in the lives of both monolingual and multi-lingual students and takes great pride in bringing awareness to the cultural and diverse needs of all learners.
Ms. Montemayor also brings 10 years of graphic design experience having served as an art director in the field of advertising. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Design in 1997 and is presently in Texas A&M’s Master of Education in Bilingual Education Program. This is her 13th year in education. Having served 12 years as a bilingual educator in both a one-way bilingual program and two-way dual language enrichment programs, she is proud to serve the Dallas community as an instructional coach at Cityscape Schools. Ms. Montemayor enjoys spending time with her husband and two children doing what they love most – spending time in nature.
