Ms. Elena Bobadilla is part of the Leadership team at Cityscape Schools where she serves as an Instructional Coach.  In this capacity she is responsible for providing direct communication and collaboration with the district’s educators.  Her responsibilities include providing professional learning communities, professional staff development training and creating assessment benchmarks to monitor effectiveness for the District.  In this role, she is instrumental in providing best practices and instructional strategies that are proven in achieving rigorous student performance outcomes and measured growth.  Her guidance in this role supports teachers with the highest standards in pedagogical knowledge, delivery of instruction and student engagement.
 
Ms. Bobadilla chose to continue her stewardship in education by working at Cityscape Schools because of her love of community, of Historic East Dallas where she was raised. She attended William Lipscomb Elementary, J.L. Long Middle School & Woodrow Wilson High School.  Her desire was to continue to give back to the community at large that served and educated her so well.
 
Ms. Bobadilla has 20 years of experience and knowledge in academic pedagogy in Bilingual Education. She has served in many capacities throughout her career supporting administrators in conducting professional learning communities, providing team building and mentoring new teachers. She has also served as lead curriculum developer in Reading, Science and Mathematics and as a Grant Writer in building financial capacity for schools. She has worked in both urban and suburban school districts. Throughout her career she has been recognized as a Master Bilingual Educator by exceeding performance-based outcomes and has a proven track record of data-driven results.
 
She received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Liberal Arts Degree in Bilingual Education from S.M.U.  She attended Universidad Compultense in Madrid, Spain where she received certificates in Children’s Literature.  Ms. Bobadilla was born and raised in Dallas and is a proud Texan.  She resides in the Lakewood neighborhood and serves her community in advocating for children and education.
