Aibeth N. Laugisch

As assistant principal of Cityscape Schools, Aibeth Laugisch has been supporting and establishing trust with students, teachers, staff, families, and campus and district leadership teams. Working in an educational partnership with families to provide a distinctive educational environment to Cityscape Schools’ students, is what attracted Ms. Laugisch to join the East Grand Preparatory and Buckner Preparatory leadership teams.
Ms. Laugisch’s journey includes working as the project manager of the OELA Eco-Resilience grant in Texas A&M University to increase academic achievement of English learners across five school districts through targeted professional development. She was also the K-6 curriculum coordinator at Garland ISD, the dual language/ESL/migrant coordinator at Forney ISD, and an instructional coach at Mesquite ISD. With over nineteen years of experience in the K-12 educational field, she has demonstrated leadership in education and possesses remarkable passion and a strong drive for excellence.
Ms. Laugisch is currently a doctoral student at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She earned a master’s degree in bilingual education at Southern Methodist University, and bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Santa Maria University in her native country of Venezuela. Aibeth lives in Forney, Texas with her husband Andy and their two sons.
